PPC marketing - Popular method of advertisement on the Web

PPC marketing or pay per click marketing is the most popular method
of advertisement employed by various websites on the Internet. PPC
marketing may often be referred to as pay for position, cost per
click or pay for performance. But regardless of the term used, PPC
marketing is the online advertiser's medium of choice for promoting
products and services to online consumers.

PPC marketing is beneficial to both the advertiser and the consumer.
Advertisers using PPC marketing only need to pay for the actual click
throughs linked to their sites from search engines. At the same time
as consumers are relieved of having to get annoying emails or pop-up
ads for products and services.

When an online consumer searches for a specific product or service
on the Internet, corresponding PPC marketing ads are also displayed
alongside the results generated by the search engine. This forms a
highly targeted consumer group that is more likely to purchase a
specific product or service. In addition, websites get to limit their
advertisement costs with the use of PPC marketing. PPC marketing is
truly a winning solution for both parties.

Possible drawbacks of PPC marketing

Despite the obvious advantages of PPC marketing, there are possible
drawbacks that can cancel out its benefits. One of the most common
problems associated with PPC marketing is the inexperience of many
people attempting to use this profitable advertisement method. Simply
submitting PPC marketing ads to a search engine such as google, does
not make up the entire campaign.

PPC marketing requires a calculated and systematic approach to
setting up ads. PPC marketing involves the use of keywords and
biddings in order to get top placement on a search engine. Getting
top search engine placement helps boost traffic to a website that can
easily translate into profit.

Without the necessary experience and knowledge to carry out a
typical PPC marketing ad, may turn into an expensive campaign that
does not convert into profit. PPC marketing ads also require
continuous funding, as discontinued payments will also result in
discontinued ads. This can be unfavorable for a website that has
already built high rankings with their PPC marketing ads.

Bidding on keywords can also be quite costly, as the growing number
of websites on the web struggle against each other to bid on the most
popular keyword for their PPC marketing ad. Obviously small business
websites are at a disadvantage here since big business websites are
able to pay more for popular keywords related to their site. This is
because most small businesses only set aside a small portion of their
capital for advertisement, putting them at a disadvantage.

Running an effective PPC marketing campaign

There are a number of things that a website should consider when
running an effective PPC marketing campaign. It is important to
develop a marketing plan in order to get the most return on
investment from PPC marketing. Selecting the most appropriate
keywords that relate to the site's business is essential in PPC
marketing.

However, simply choosing the most popular keywords does not
necessarily translate into profit. Selecting more specific keywords
that will put a site within the first ten results of a search also
gets greater awareness from online consumers. In addition, it doesn't
cost as much as getting the top spot for PPC marketing.

It is also important that a website constantly monitors the
performance of their PPC marketing campaign. This will help the site
modify any existing PPC marketing ad to make it more productive. At
the same time any PPC marketing ad that has not proven effective can
be immediately discontinued. Altering PPC marketing ads is a
continuous process that many websites do in order to increase their
return on investment.

Getting professional help with PPC marketing

The popularity of PPC marketing has given rise to professionals
offering PPC marketing services for small and big businesses. Hiring
a professional PPC marketing company is advisable for a small
business without experience in PPC marketing. Most PPC marketing
companies offer reasonable rates for their services and at the same
time produce acceptable results.

A PPC marketing professional can attend to all the details commonly
involved in a PPC marketing campaign. Handling a PPC marketing
campaign is a time consuming process that can be overwhelming for a
small business. A PPC marketing professional can help set up a PPC
marketing campaign and later on train someone from within the
business to handle it to ensure its continued success.

Making Money through Product Resell Rights

Resell rights come in many forms and sizes. They can come in large
packages with many products bundled together and offered for an
almost suspiciously low price. Or they can be offered on a single
product for a four-figure sum. There are also different types of
rights offered allowing you to do different things.

Basic resell rights only give you the right to sell the product. You
cannot claim the product is your own and you do not have permission
to offer the resell rights to anyone else. Basic resell rights are
usually the cheapest, so it may be easier to make a profit. Check the
terms for how much you can charge for the product or if it can be
given away, perhaps as a bonus with something else. There may also be
conditions for distributing the product from membership and auction
sites. If you are buying rights to software make sure you know the
product well enough to deal with any troubleshooting enquiries. Some
software rights sellers are prepared to deal with enquiries
themselves. The product may also come with a web sales page that you
can use, but check for any restrictions.

Master resell rights often include a web page with the product. They
give you the right to sell the product and you can also pass on this
right to your customers. However that is as far as it goes. Your
customers cannot give the resell rights for the product to their
customers. The best master resell rights packages will include a zip
file containing everything you need to put on your download page.

There are two types of resell rights that may be referred to as
private label rights. One type is where you are given the resell
rights for a finished product and you are also allowed to put your
name on the product as the author. This type of product is a ready-to-
sell information or software product. You cannot change it other than
put your name on it.

The second type of private label rights is also known as source code
rights. The product is not a finished ready-to-sell item. Instead it
will be the raw source material that you can use to produce a
finished item. Programs will be in the source code format;
information products will be in a word processor format, like MS Word.

You can change the product in any way you want. You can add your
name as author, add more content, omit parts or split it into several
products. You may also be able to sell resell rights and even master
resell rights. Terms and conditions should be posted, so check them
carefully. Most private label rights packages also come with a web
page and graphics that you can use for selling.

If you have found a resell rights product that you think you can
sell you need to do some basic market research before purchasing. How
many people are searching for this type of product? How many
competing products are there? Have you seen the product available
elsewhere?

If you are going to sell on the internet you need to have access to
the following skills. You must be able to edit web pages, create
payment links and upload the product and web pages to a server. If
you are buying private label rights you must also be able to edit the
product. This is especially important if you are buying rights for
software.

There are many ways you can sell products on the internet. You can
usually set up your own website or add the sales page to your
existing site. You could invest in pay per click ads or ezine ads.
You could write articles. If you have private label rights to a book
you can use some of the content to produce articles or even a free
report for viral marketing.

Resell rights offer the advantage of not having to produce your own
material. However, you need to be sure the product is good quality
and that you have a good marketing plan.

To SEO or To PPC?

The online community is definitely a large market place that you cannot ignore, especially if you have an internet business. There are thousands if not millions of consumers that you can tap in the internet.

At the same time, the internet also poses a quite different challenge. The easy access that internet provides also gives you as much competition as you can imagine. It is too crowded and congested.

Having a website is not enough to make your business running and able to compete. You must take other alternatives to give way for the online community to access your website at any rate or chance possible.

You have to expose your website. Make it known. It has to be visible. It has to be frequently targeted by consumers and surfers.

Invest in marketing your internet site. There are basically two options available to you, the SEO and PPC. These two are probably the most desirable alternatives you can get for your internet business as strategy for search engine marketing.

1. SEO

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Some researches indicate that 60% - 70% of internet surfers and users actually resort to using the Google search engine to find and locate web sites and pages, for any topic they desire. SEO is the process taken to make sure that the internet uses will find your website when ranked among the top results of a search. This way you can make sure that you will be visible and can clearly stand out from the rest.

To get a search engine optimization, you will have to build on your own internet site frequently hit internet links to web site pages. The process will involve IBLN or Independent Back-Linking Network, wherein hundreds or even thousands of pages will be utilized to promote a particular website of a client.

In SEO, there is no need for you to pay for the clicks although it will require you to spend time doing research to get a favorable combination of ads and target audience. The SEO process is a long term one. It requires months, 6 months at the least, before the proper outcome is fully achieved, but once the goal is accomplished, you will definitely get a steady source of profit.

2. PPC

PPC means Pay Per Click. It gives way advertising on a search engine. These are sponsored listings that you see whenever you make a search. There will be a charge whenever a visitor or web surfer clicks on any of your ads. There will first be a bidding process. The highest bidder for the price per click will definitely get the chance to be first listed in the search engine.

With this kind of advertising, you can still basically control your campaign as you get to create your own ad. You will also manage the target audience and still stay within the bounds of your budget. Most of the providers of PPC advertising will allow you to specify the target market, either by topic, industry or geographical location. You can also very well check if your ad gets to be shown at all and if it is competitive with the rest.

There are some guaranteed benefits when you get to maximize the PPC strategy.

- PPC lets you advertise to the whole of the online community. It is also relatively easy to set up.

- At first glance, PPC advertising may seem very expensive. Could it possibly happen that someone out there will go on clicking on your ad? This will definitely give you a large bill without the expected profit on your part. If this provides a lot of worries, be rest assured that there is a protection for you. Networks are able to recognize fraudulent clicks.

- You can also set a budget for a certain period. The moment your budget has been used up by the target number of clicks, your ads will no longer be displayed until the next period you want it again displayed.

- You will also be able to adjust well to changes in market demands and trends.

In deciding which of the two strategies will work right for you, think of your goals and of your resources. They definitely offer benefits and advantages that will work for your good. The better way to approach this two is to evaluate according to your short term and long term plans. Take the PPC course for your short term goals and choose SEO if you have long term ones.

There world is out there for you now. Just make sure you do what will work best for your entrepreneurial endeavors and visions. The secret to success lies in your hands. Just study your options well and you’ll get exactly what you want.

Make Money Online!

What do surfers do?

What kind of question is that for an article titled, Make Money
Online
? It might sound even more crazy if you knew that I grew up on
a farm in North Dakota - far from the ocean!

But I learned something about business and life, in general, by
watching surfers. When a surfer is sitting on their board paddling
gently out in the ocean, what are they really doing?

Being lazy?

Listeing to their IPod?

No way! They are watching for the next big wave!

A surfer is out there bobbing on their board watching the wave
action and getting ready to get off their butt to ride the wave to
shore!

That's what surfers do...they catch the wave...the opportunity for a
great ride!

I have a number of business pursuits currently in development, but
recently I came across an opportunity that has inspired this article.
The opportunity reminded me of the surfer.

How many times in life have you looked back and said, "if only?" Or
what about, "If I would have known then what I know now!"

My wife and I invested in our first investment property about two
years in Las Vegas - where we live. The real estate market was just
beginning to soar here when the opportunity presented itself. We
didn't have a lot of time to think because if we didn't buy the
property my business partner at the time would have! We decided in
about five minutes to do it! We were ready and we knew we had to get
up on our "surf board" and ride the wave! (It was a great
decision...quick but great!)

And, so, I ask you: are you like a surfer or do you just stand on
life's shore? It's a tough one but one we all need to wrestle with.

OK, you ask, what about the "Make Money Online" part of the title.
Well, that was the opportunity I got on board today. If you are
interested click on the link below, but, more importantly I wanted
you to think about becoming a surfer!

What do surfers do?

They ride the waves!

Using Remote Site Syndication (RSS) to Make Money

You may already know that RSS stands for Remote Site Syndication,
but what does that really mean to you and more importantly, how
can you use RSS to help you make more money online?

Simply put, RSS feeds are written in XML, a special mark up
language much like html. That means that they have mechanisms
included that identify structures in a document. The structures
define the content and how that content will be displayed within
that document. RSS is what makes big news websites possible:
RSS files are used to create a data feed which will deliver
headlines, links or virtually any other piece of information to a
channel viewer application, commonly called a news reader.

These readers are subscribed to certain RSS feeds and constantly
monitor them, alerting the user when every any new information
has been added to the feed. So, how can you use this to your
advantage as an internet marketer? Here are the most popular
ways to integrate RSS feeds into your marketing effort: you can
use RSS to replace any email marketing you are currently doing,
take advantage of RSS feeds to drive traffic to your blog or
sales site or create your own RSS feed so your messages and
information show up on thousands of websites, blogs and desktops
online.

Although many marketing gurus will claim that email marketing
isn't dead, with the advent of increasing spam complaints and
filters coupled with the threat of viruses originating from an
email, more and more people are leery of even opening your email.
So even if you have a large email list, the likelihood of your
emails being opened is becoming increasingly slim.

With RSS, your messages won't ever get filtered and have a much
higher chance of actually being read vs. a typical email. And
your marketing results can only be better when people actually
read your message. You can even incorporate autoresponders in
conjunction with RSS.

Including RSS feeds on your content site or blog allows you to
add fully dynamic theme-related content to your web pages making
your site or blog very popular with the search engines. The
constantly updated content is exactly what the search engines
crave and helps increase your search engine ranking, driving more
traffic to your page.

Probably the best way to use RSS to help your online marketing
efforts is to create your own RSS feed. This way your
information will be published on any website that is using the
RSS feed you are supplying that information to. There's even
automated software to submit your RSS feeds to the various
directories that supply the feeds to marketers using them as
described above.

RSS is still a relatively unknown method of driving traffic to
websites, but is becoming more popular every day. As an internet
marketer, this is a great opportunity to take advantage of this
new technology before the rest of the online gurus jump on the
bandwagon.

How to Start a Drop Shipping Business

And make money online.
There are so many ways to start a home business online. One of
the challenges most people who want to start a business from home
face, is the lack of space to carry inventory. Fortunately,
there are businesses that do not require sellers to store
products. This is a "drop ship" type of business.

What is drop shipping?

Drop shipping is the method of retail merchandising which allows
business owners to sell products without first purchasing and
stocking the items they sell. This arrangement is made between
the seller and the supplier. In other words, a seller would
display a product, either on a website or on a mail-order
catalog, without having it in their inventory.

How does it work?

The seller charges a certain price, which is over what the
supplier is selling. The difference between those two prices is
the seller's profit.

When a buyer purchases that product, the seller can go to his/her
supplier's website or call the supplier and place the order which
will be delivered directly to the customer's mailing address.

In this way, the seller is responsible for the promotion of the
products and the supplier takes care of fulfillment.

As with any other business, one should do thorough research
before starting. Probably the most important thing to consider
is whether there is a market for the product. A mistake that many
marketers make is to start with a product they think will sell,
only to be disappointed down the road when they lose money.

How do you find a hot market?

The beautiful thing about the Internet is that all the research
being done by multi-million dollar corporations is readily
available. You just need to know where to look to simply take
advantage of the online giants' technology.

Two great, free examples that can give one tons of niche ideas
for products to sell are eBay and Overture.

eBay trends about what is selling can be observed by visiting
eBay pulse at http://pulse.ebay.com. One can then drill down by
categories and sub-categories and find niches of interest.

With Overture's tools you can establish demand and supply in an
instant. Simply type in a phrase in their keyword suggestion
tool: http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/
to see the demand.

If there are advertisers spending good money for products, then
it's a good sign that the people in that market are spending
money on the items. Overture's bid price tool shows this
information:
http://uv.bidtool.overture.com/d/USm/search/tools/bidtool/

Another important aspect of the drop shipping business, is to
find reliable suppliers. Some things to look for are:

1. Are they charging a handling fee per item?
2. Are they using reliable shipping methods?
3. How are they handling returns?
4. How long have they been around for?

By using "drop shipping" + product of interest, in Google's
search, one can locate many drop shippers.

In conclusion, drop shipping is a great business model for anyone
who does not want to deal with carrying inventory and
fulfillment. However, it is very important to identify a hot
market where customers are already buying and to locate a
reliable drop shipper before starting a drop shipping business.

Make Money Online

Make Money Online

Is it possible to make a part time or full time living on the
Internet? Can you really make enough money to make your time
worthwhile?

According to all the "gurus" you can easily make a LOT of money
by buying their program and doing EXACTLY what they tell you to
do.

Is all of this hype really true? The answer is yes and no. It
really is true that a stay at home Mom or a student in need of
extra income or a full time worker needing a part-time income can
make money on the Internet. It is also true that a lot of people
are making a full-time living and even becoming rich on the
Internet.

The question is, "Can you do it too"? Again the answer is maybe
yes and maybe no. It all depends on how much time you are willing
to invest in studying the techniques and learn the methods you
need for Internet Marketing (IM) success.

The fastest way to make money online is to sell on Ebay.
You can start right now, today, and in 3 days be paid online for
items you sell. There are a lot of "get rich quick" tutorials for
sale on how to make it on Ebay, but you don't need one. You can
simply register at the Ebay site, read their tutorial and get
started selling items you have around the house.

A lot of people make a few extra dollars to a few hundred extra
dollars a month on Ebay. Others make a lot more. Ebay or any
business you get into online or in a physical business location
has the potential to make money. Lots of people succeed in
business and a lot fail. Your success or failure will partially
depend on how well you prepare, how much you study and how much
energy you put into the project.

The great thing about online businesses compared to brick and
mortar stores is it usually costs a lot less to get started. For
instance, getting stared selling on Ebay doesn't cost anything.
You only pay fees when you run an Ebay auction ad.

Once you have some money rolling in on Ebay, you can invest in
one of the guru courses that you can find in any search engine by
doing a search for, "Internet marketing".

Do you have to buy a course? No, you can find free information
online to help you get started. The advantage of a course is that
it is all in one place. A decent course starts at about $67 and
runs up to about $197. There are other cheaper courses and more
expensive ones. It is best to start learning with a moderately
priced course.

Every course you find will offer you good advice. Some are better
than others. It is hard to say which is best. Just like some
people love Fords and hate Chevy's, it is the same with IM guru
courses. The secret is to do a little online research, pick one
and then follow it.

Internet Marketing can be as easy as creating a simple website
and putting other company's ads on the site. You get paid when
someone buys a product or even when someone clicks on an ad. You
don't even need a product to sell; you only have other's ads on
your web pages.

Ebay is a make money today proposition. For most people, Internet
Marketing is a get rich slow process. Yes, some people make money
within days or weeks of starting on online business. Most take a
little longer to get established.

There are no hard and fast rules on how long it will take you to
make money online or how much you can make. It all depends on how
hard you are willing to work and how much time you are willing to
devote to creating a new business.

Make Money Online as an Affiliate

There are HUGE benefits to promoting affiliate programs with your own homebased Internet business. Let's look at 15 of the best reasons to join affiliate programs.

1.No Production Costs: The cost to develop and produce a new product is prohibitive for almost anyone who wants to start a home-based business. With affiliate programs, production costs aren't an issue. The product has been developed and proven - all on the merchant's nickel.

2.Low Cost Set-up: Compared with building a brick and mortar store, starting a home-based Internet business is relatively cheap. You probably already have a desk, Internet-connected computer and word-processing software, which is all the equipment you may need to startmaking easy money from affiliate programs like in Make Money Online.

3.No Fees or Licenses: I often compare doing business as an affiliate, with distributing a line of products in the real world. The biggest difference is that the distributor must often pay for a license to distribute products within a limited geographic region. Affiliate programs, on the other hand, are usually free to join, and geographic market reach is limited only by the affiliate's ability to promote his website.

4.Sell Almost Anything: What isn't sold online? That list must be shorter than the one describing all that IS sold online. There are thousands and thousands of affiliate programs selling every product under the sun. That makes it easy to find products related to your current or planned web site.

5.No Sales Experience Required: When I started my affiliate business, I had absolutely no sales experience. That wasn't a problem, however. The companies I affiliated with provided excellent marketing material. Using their sales copy, I was able to get my first affiliate site up in less than a day.

6.No Employees: Employee salaries are the biggest business expense. Although you may need or want someone to work for you on occasion, you'll never have to worry about hiring full or part-time employees while working as an affiliate marketer.
When you have a project you want to hire out, it is easy to find specialists in every computer-related field who can work for you from the comfort of THEIR own homes. You pay only for the project, and never have to worry about ongoing employee related benefits and deductions.

7.No Merchant Accounts: Setting up a merchant account is time-consuming and costly. However, affiliate marketers don't need merchant account. Merchants bear all the costs for payment processing. As an affiliate, you'll never lose sleep overchargebacks, fraud or losing your merchant account.

8.No Inventory: As an affiliate marketer, you can sell large items without storage concerns, even if you live in a small one-bedroom apartment.

9.No Order-Processing: Forget the problems associated with collecting and storing names, addresses, credit card numbers, etc.The merchant does all that!

10.No Shipping: The cost and hassle to prepare and ship products to customers worldwide could be staggering. Affiliates never have to worry about packaging supplies or postal rates.

11.No Customer Service: Do you hate the prospect of dealing with nasty people or customer complaints? Don't worry about it! The merchant handles the snivelers.

12.Make Money Online While You Sleep: What other business allows you as a sole proprietor to keep your doors open and keep making money even when you take breaks or after you go home for the night?

13.Worldwide Marketplace: The Internet is the world's largest marketplace. You can drive more visitors to your online store in a day, than a small-town merchant will see in his or her brick and mortar business in a year.

14.Minimal Risk: The product you chose isn't making money? Dump it. Take down your links and promote another! It's that easy. There are no long-term contracts binding you to products that don't sell.

15.High Income Potential: If you have a job, your salary or hourly wage is probably pre-determined. Maybe there's not much, other than working overtime, that you can do to increase your income. With your own affiliate business on the Internet your income potential is limited only by your desire, effort and imagination. No other business is so inexpensive to start yet offers such high profit potential without investing years of labor.

Affiliate programs enable you to work from Almost Anywhere in theWorld! Make Money Online

Make Money Online with RSS Data Transfer

Make Money Online with RSS Data Transfer

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site

Summary. It also has been referred to as a “pull” technologyrather than a “push” technology. And, in fact, this feature is what makes RSS so popular in terms of today’s Internet usage.
It’s probably hard to argue that anyone who uses the Internet today hasn’t heard of spam. If they have an email inbox it is probably full of it.

Spam, for the uninitiated, is the receipt of unwanted emails from people whom you did not request to receive information. Spam represents the “push” technology. That is, people “push” their email message at your inbox, whether you have asked to receive the email or not.

And that aspect of “push” technology is what many have come to believe is the death of email. It’s arguable that email will still be around for quite a long time, even though there are still people who continue the illegal spam process. In fact, companies are making millions now just providing everyday users as well as huge corporations, solutions claiming to solve their spam problem.

RSS, on the other hand, can be said to be the exact opposite of the email “push” technology. Because you cannot “push” your message to subscribers. In fact, the only way that people can subscribe to an RSS feed is to do so voluntarily. And, at the same time, they can unsubscribe whenever they want.

That’s why it’s called a “pull” technology. Because subscribers “pull” information into their readers and, if the content isn’twhat they expect, they can unsubscribe whenever they’d like. So, unlike the email “push” technology, there is no one using RSS that is experiencing an inbox full of spam. All they have to do is to unsubscribe and they will never receive another message from the person who provided the feed.

RSS has become a popular way to make money online too. And that is due in part to the popularity of the RSS “pull” technology. Here’s one way of monetizing a website using RSS feeds.

Imagine setting up a static one page web site - a minisite if you will. Now, add either Google Adsense code or the new Yahoo version of the Google Adsense style ads that, when clicked by a visitor - you earn cash.

This gives you a nice starting point and, if you optimize your web page properly, there is a good chance you will get a high ranking in the search engines. And, the more people who see your page, the more likelihood they will click on one of the links on your web page and you’ll earn revenue from the click.

But RSS provides an even greater potential. Because by adding an RSS feed to that same web page, you turn a static web page that only contains the information you placed on it, into a dynamic ever changing web page that others will likely come back more than once to read.

After all, once someone has read a one page web site, what incentive is there for them to come back? Plenty, if you use RSS feeds on your web page. It is possible to add 5, 10 or 15 feeds on your once static web page and now, you’ve got a page that automatically updates itself and provides something that people will want to come back to read time and time again.

You can easily convert any web page into a dynamic web page using free RSS creator software. One of the most popular free versions is called Carp and you can download it at this web link:http://www.geckotribe.com/rss/carp/.

Once you’ve set this program up on your website and added the proper code to your website, then you will need to collect RSS feeds that relate to the topic of your web page.
